About Freda:
Born in Lancashire, she moved to Staffordshire as a Primary School
teacher more than 25 years. She encouraged and inspired creativity in the children she taught.

When she retired she joined the Walton Art Group where ideas,
techniques and a genuine love of art are shared. having practised all mediums she finds her style is more suited to watercolour and acrylic as they suit her pace of work.

She draws her inspiration from the environment—from Cannock Chase  and her love of coastal regions of Pembrokeshire, Scotland  and Northumberland and inland Devon.

Although not a fabric artist, per se, she has discovered and become an expert in machine embellishing as a means of creating pictures. In essence it is "painting with fabrics".  She now runs introductary courses for anyone interested in the medium

Fred has a small Studio/log cabin, in her garden, where she paints. The whole of the downstairs is filled with her paintings as well as  a gallery room with over 50 paintings on display at any time.
A selection of Fred's cards is always available.

We have the resources to frame any of my pictures or prints, of hers, you may like. These can be made exactly as you want.
